What'd they say?

You can hear what they're saying.  Maybe they don't even sweat you enough to hide their disdain, their disrespect.

And it just kills you.  Them talking so bad about you.

But do they really know you?  

Do they know your capacities?  

It might be, you've learned something, read something, or experienced something that puts you far ahead of just some neat derogatory(bad) label, like hash tags or something, trying to define a life.

And they nay-sayers might not know at all, and yet, they continue to sling verbal mud or your name.

To jump or not to jump.

Everybody might not follow along with you when you set-out for where you need to go.

The question, can you change your mind to satisfy their demands?  Can you live with that?

There are times when people hold back their plans and then use that fact later as a verbal bludgeon in arguments with a significant other: don't be that kind of person.

If you hold back your plans, make sure you're at peace with it.

Mindset and proverb on leadership.

The skillful commander does not chafe.

He can but walk into the corral, and his charges follow.

Let me ask you of your mindset.  How is your average?  

And of course, be mindful when you can, because sometimes people might look to you for cues on what's going on, what's proper for a given situation, a la peer pressure.
